Although classified as partial, the Earth’s shadow will cover more than 96 per cent of the Moon, making this an exceptionally powerful eclipse. As its intensity builds, emotions that are ordinarily contained can become harder to manage, the mind can become increasingly active, and anger, disappointment, frustration, self-judgment and self-sabotage can appear with greater force. Something from the past can suddenly feel present again, an ordinary exchange can trigger a disproportionate reaction, or an emotion can arise whose source cannot be immediately understood.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eThe eclipse on its own does not create these emotions or patterns; \u003c\/b\u003eit illuminates the unresolved charge that has remained active beneath them. The Pisces Full Moon reaches into the emotional and subconscious fields, while its opposition to the Virgo Sun intensifies the mind’s attempt to analyse, correct, or control what is being felt. Uranus adds an unpredictable charge, causing reactions and realisations to arise suddenly, while the North Node gives the eclipse a forward movement. \u003cb\u003eWhat is revealed is being brought into awareness because it cannot continue to occupy the same place within us as we move into a greater frequency.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eAn interesting aspect of this eclipse is that it arrives in a month of sustained energetic intensity. One powerful celestial alignment has followed another, continually adding higher frequencies to the collective field. Whether we have worked with these Energies consciously or simply continued with our everyday lives, the body has still been receiving and processing what is present. As the higher-powered Energies of August seek to integrate, the Lunar Eclipse brings these lower energies out of containment so that the space they occupy can be released.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eWe cannot stop the Lunar Eclipse from occurring, nor can we decide what it will reveal within each of us. What we can change is the way we meet what arises. At a time when everything feels charged, the answer is not to charge forward, react or increase the effort to manage ourselves. It is the decision to stop interfering with what is already moving. It allows what has surfaced to remain present long enough for the unresolved charge beneath it to be reached, worked upon and released.
