What is often being described as restlessness, low patience, emotional intensity, or a sense of internal pressure is not without reason.

April is a cosmologically active month, offering a strong forward-moving current with no retrogrades. On the surface, this makes it an ideal time to launch new projects, ventures, and directions, embracing a fresh start; however, the Fire Horse years bring a charged, high-activity external environment, in which your lived experience does not match this intense energy and can lead to internal burnout.

As I tap into the mid-month energy of the New Moon corridor, this becomes more pronounced. I sense a distinct imbalance in the Fire Element, both individually and collectively. We are getting ready to see the Earth take a new path, and as she does, the key has to be the energy that propels us forward without burning out — energy balance.

The New Moon in Aries significantly amplifies this fire energy, hosting a remarkable ten heavenly bodies in its sign. When fire is balanced, it grants us easier access to our passions, boosts motivation, and fosters a rising sense of confidence to act. This Aries New Moon needs an outlet so these positive qualities can be channelled. When balanced, this energy flows through your body, leading to greater authenticity, self-trust in your thoughts, and seamless action.

While the fiery strength dominates the April New Moon, Chiron, the Wounded Healer, simultaneously brings forward deeper wounds to the surface. These may stem from birth or be carried across past lives and timelines, holding a profound spiritual quality. They surface so they can be “burned out,” facilitating healing and transformation for your highest good.

Furthermore, the Aries New Moon is positioned directly opposite the dwarf planet Haumea, the Hawaiian Goddess of Creation and the Great Mother. She embodies an incredibly fertile energy that aids in birthing our ideas into existence. To actively co-create with this powerful, high-frequency energy, the vessel (YOU) must be balanced and responsive to manifest a better reality.

It’s important to remember that, symbolically, Aries represents both masculine and feminine energy. The shape of the Ram is often linked to the womb, and the word ‘ovaries’ contains the energy of “Aries” within it. Thus, the first sign of the zodiac is the vessel of both energies.
