October opens with different areas of life moving at different speeds. Pluto turning direct begins to move internal transformation towards visible change, while Venus and Mercury turn retrograde, returning us to the values, desires, and deeper motives beneath our choices. Part of life is therefore preparing to move forward, while another part is not yet ready because its foundations are still being revised. A new direction may be visible, yet something beneath it may still belong to what we previously wanted, accepted or believed would bring fulfilment.

We may recognise this through an idea that feels ready but remains unexpressed, a decision that continues to be postponed, or a desire for greater abundance accompanied by discomfort around visibility, value or receiving. Something within us may want to advance while our time, attention and life force remain invested in what is familiar, expected or safe.

It is at this threshold that 1 October opens the 1:1:1 Gateway. It does not ask us to rush towards a new beginning simply because the number 1 carries the energy of initiation. Instead, it brings us back to the point from which our next movement will arise, allowing us to recognise whether it is being directed by what is true now or by an earlier desire, identity, expectation or need.

The date carries depth sequence 1: 10/1: 10/1 the initiating force of 1, held alongside two 10/1 vibrations, where completion and a new beginning exist together. The zeros hold the unformed space between what has ended and what has not yet taken shape; the Ones give that possibility direction. The complete date reduces to 3, bringing the inner impulse into Expression and Creation.

Only two days later, on 3 October, Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio. As the Goddess of wealth, abundance and beauty, Venus takes us inward to review what has value, what attracts us, what we desire, what we are available to receive and how we invest our money, time, attention and life force. The timing is significant: the 1:1:1 Gateway asks us to recognise what is directing our next movement before Venus begins examining whether that direction continues to honour our value.

We may desire abundance while our Will remains directed towards safety, approval or certainty. We may carry something valuable but delay, dilute, or withhold its expression. We may ask to receive more while the body contracts around visibility, financial exchange, or having more than it has previously known how to hold.

Will gives our life force direction. Expression allows that direction to move through the body, voice, choices, creative work and action. When what carries value within us is expressed, it can be seen, encountered, supported and exchanged. Abundance then becomes more than something we wait to receive; it becomes the expansion that is possible when our value has entered circulation and we are available for what returns.

Understanding this can bring awareness, but awareness alone does not always move what has become held within the body and Energy Body. Recalibrate Value and Exchange: Release patterns of overgiving, undervaluing, and difficulty asking, restoring greater reciprocity between what is offered and what is received.

Anchor Abundance into Material Form: Ground the creative impulse through the Earth Star and Root Chakras, releasing the separation between spiritual purpose and material gain.

Expand the Capacity to Receive and Hold More: Release contraction, guilt, mistrust around money, support, recognition, or opportunity, allowing the body to remain open as more becomes available.
